Why are people so mean to first time horse buyers?

I mean, we all have to start out somewhere! People on here say things like "Well if you don't know the answer to this dumb question, then you're not ready to own a horse." Well, the reality is, If no one will answer my "dumb questions", then how do you expect me to ever be ready?! Is it some horsey pride issue where they think they're a lot better than you because they've been in the business longer?! It may also be that they're just trying to stop people who aren't and (NEVER WILL BE) ready from purchasing and neglecting or abusing the horse, but a lot of these people are just trying to learn in every way possible, like myself. Sorry, I'm ranting. But It just gets on my nerves.
