PLEASE HELP ME! I need tips on how to be a better student.?

i am not that diligent, and i am also not that smart, but i have good grades beacuse i study hard. but lately my schoolwork is suffering because i have a boyfriend. can anyone give me tips on how to get better grades without having to leave my boyfriend? i love him so much. i would really appreciate all answers to my question. ^_^
